CHRISTIAN HARTMANN PHOTOGRAPHY

My name is Christian Hartmann, and I am an architect who graduated from the Vienna University of Technology (Austria). During my studies, I discovered a passion for photography, which led me to specialize in architectural photography.

I have over 10 years of experience in this field. My training as an architect allows me to deeply understand spaces and translate the project’s intent into images that clearly communicate the architect’s vision.​ Every project is unique, and my curiosity to explore, understand, and document new works continues to drive my work.

 

Over the years, I have trained and specialized in this niche, which allows me to maintain control even in challenging lighting conditions. I apply advanced “manual bracketing” techniques and integrate multi-flash setups to ensure that every space is presented in its best light. Whether in architecture or hotels, I strive for aesthetic, editorial-style imagery.

Apart from architecture, I am a nature lover. So if I’m not photographing a project, I’m probably at a volcano, eagerly awaiting the next eruption with my camera, or in the forest documenting the fascinating wildlife. Since 2021, I’ve been sharing this passion and knowledge by leading landscape and wildlife photography workshops and expeditions.
